29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) Harrison AA Lathe, Tool Room, Weco Manufacturing, 6364 Dean Pkwy, Ontario, NY 14519, on or about 1/5/2026; The Harrison AA Lathe (ID C102, Model: VS) was operated without a guard to cover the chuck, exposing the employee to caught in hazards created by rotating parts.  b) Trak K3 Mill, Tool Room, Weco Manufacturing, 6364 Dean Pkwy, Ontario, NY 14519, on or about 2/2/2026; A Trak K3 Mill (ID C101, SN 024AK11346) was operated without a guard to cover the chuck  and tooling, exposing the employee to caught in hazards created by rotating parts.   c) Bridgeport Mill, Tool Room, Weco Manufacturing, 6364 Dean Pkwy, Ontario, NY 14519, on or about 2/2/2026; A Bridgeport Mill (ID C103, SN 2J-147664) was operated without a guard to cover the chuck  and tooling, exposing the employee to caught in hazards created by rotating parts.   d) Bridgeport Mill, Tool Room, Weco Manufacturing, 6364 Dean Pkwy, Ontario, NY 14519, on or about 2/2/2026; A Bridgeport Mill (ID C104, SN 2J-139091) was operated without a guard to cover the chuck  and tooling, exposing the employee to caught in hazards created by rotating parts.   e) Trak K3 Mill, Tool Room, Weco Manufacturing, 6364 Dean Pkwy, Ontario, NY 14519, on or about 2/2/2026; A Trak K3 Mill (C105, SN 182CK432) was operated without a guard to cover the chuck  and tooling, exposing the employee to caught in hazards created by rotating parts.

29 CFR  1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section:  a) CNC Area, Weco Manufacturing, 6364 Dean Pkwy, Ontario, NY 14519, on or about 2/10/2026; The employer did not develop, document, or utilize procedures for controlling hazardous energy during service and maintenance, including, but not limited to, set-ups and cleaning operations, on equipment that had the safety interlocks bypassed. (Haas VF 4SS, ID C161)   b) CNC Area, Weco Manufacturing, 6364 Dean Pkwy, Ontario, NY 14519, on or about 2/10/2026; The employer did not develop, document, or utilize procedures for controlling hazardous energy during service and maintenance, including, but not limited to, set-ups and cleaning operations, on equipment that had the safety interlocks bypassed. (Haas VF 2SS, ID C164)   DJ Acquisition Partners Inc. dba Weco Manufacturing, was previously cited for a violation of the Occupational Safety and Health Standard, its equivalent, or essentially similar standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1803984, Citation number 1, Item number 1, Issued on 2/28/2025, and affirmed as a final order on 3/11/2025 with respect to a workplace located at 275 Commerce Drive, Rochester, NY 14623.

29 CFR  1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE):  a) CNC Department, Weco Manufacturing, 6364 Dean Pkwy, Ontario, NY 14519, on or about 2/10/2026;  The employer did not conduct a hazard assessment of the worksite to determine what personal protective equipment was necessary for tasks that employees were required to complete.   Abatement certification is required.
