Miller Scorpion and/or Miller MiniLite Personal Fall Limiters (PFL's) were being used as a mechanical backup/restraint on Presses PL07 and PL08 to catch or hold the gate/cage door in the event that the torsion spring  or chain and sprocket mechanism fails.
