29 CFR  1926.20(b)(2): Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers.  a) Located at Building 2-5594 Arbor Vitae Drive, Canal Winchester, OH 43110: On or about February 24, 2026, the employer did not conduct frequent and regular inspections of the job site. As a result, employees were exposed to fall hazards greater than 15 feet while performing residential construction.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Exception: When the employer can demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems, the employer shall develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502.  a) Located at Building 2-5594 Arbor Vitae Drive, Canal Winchester, OH 43110: On or about February 24, 2026, the employer did not ensure that employees framing the floor of the second story were protected from falling by a fall protection system. As a result, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 15 feet while performing residential construction.  b) Located at Building 2-5594 Arbor Vitae Drive, Canal Winchester, OH 43110 : On or about February 24, 2026, the employer did not ensure that employees accessing a ladder and working near an unprotected window opening were protected from falling by a fall protection system. As a result, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 10 feet while performing residential construction.  Duran Lopez Construction, LLC. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this Occupational Safety and Health  standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1514676, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 3, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 1733 Bellmeadow Drive, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
