29 CFR  1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used.    (a) Location - Jobsite  ON or about 02/27/2026, employees accessed the ladder jack scaffolding by climbing over the walking plank and not using a separate ladder.

The Pento & Sons Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number  1546682, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/14/2022, with respect to a workplace located at  17 Nutting Road, Jaffrey, NH.
