29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: Employer did not protect employees from the toxic, flammable and corrosive hazards of chemicals used in the facility located at 1744 Illinois Street - Sidney, Nebraska 69162 by providing effective information and training on the hazardous chemicals used throughout the workplace. Auto and tire shop employees exposed to chemicals including, but not limited to motor oils, brake & parts cleaner, windshield washer fluids, antifreeze coolants, and tire sealant compounds had not been provided appropriate chemical hazard training. This hazard was last observed on March 4, 2026.
