29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1):Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems:  a) On or about March 5, 2026, at the construction site, where an employee installing screws on metal roof panels worked at heights greater than 15 feet without a fall protection system.  Sonny Steel Erector's, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1648819, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 21, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 24330 Northwest Freeway, Cypress, TX 77429.
