29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: Edwards Airforce Base, Building 1633: On March 10, 2026, a red extension cord was transmitting power to a leister heat gun and was not connected so that strain relief was provided. The red cord had rubber sheathing which was pulled away from the male end of the cord exposing the inner wires. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to electrical- shock hazard(s).

The fall distance was greater than 6 feet. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to fall hazard(s).
