29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who was on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems or fall restraint systems: a) Job site, Schenley Park, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about March 19, 2026 during steel erection activities on the Charles Anderson Bridge, the employer did not ensure appropriate fall protection systems or devices were in use along the edge of the bridge deck, exposing employees to fall hazards of up to approximately 60 feet or more.
