29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge:  (a) Post office at 25 W. Main Street, Isanti, MN 55040; On or about April 7, 2026, and dates prior, the employer did not ensure that the exit door from the common area to the exterior was readily openable from the egress side, in that it was locked while employees were in the building and could not be opened from the inside in the event of an emergency without a key.  The United States Postal Service was previously cited for a repeat - serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1635931, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 29, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at 401 Ogletown Road, Newark, DE 19711.
