29 CFR 1910.27(a): The employer did not ensure that scaffolds used in general industry meet the requirements in 29 CFR part 1926, subpart L (Scaffolds):  (a) In the Yard of the site, located at 647 N Combee Rd, Lakeland, FL, 33801, on or about 2/25/2026, the employer failed to ensure compliance with part 1926, subpart L regarding mobile scaffold use in general industry. 1926.451(c)(2)(v) requiers that a scaffold platform supported by a forklift not be moved horizontally while the platform is occupied. It was found that employees used a Hangcha CPCD25-XW97F Forklift, serial # A5BB30812, to support a metal trash box that was being used as a scaffold platform while the occupied platform was not attached to the forklift and was moved horizontally, exposing employees to fall hazards.  (b) In the Yard of the site, located at 647 N Combee Rd, Lakeland, FL, 33801, on or about 2/25/2026, the employer failed to ensure compliance with part 1926, subpart L regarding mobile scaffold use in general industry. 1926.451(g)(1) requiers that employees working on scaffolds at heights of over 10 feet above a lower level be protected from falling to that lower level by some form of fall protection. It was found that employees used a a Hangcha CPCD25-XW97F Forklift, serial # A5BB30812, to lift a metal trash box with an unguarded edge occupied by an employee to a height of approximately 10 ft, exposing employees to fall hazards.
