A forklift operator was assisting a co-worker to transfer equipment (steel gates) to designated storage spaces. Both forklifts were parked. After they stacked approximately 10-15 gates onto the co-worker's forklift forks, the co-worker began lifting the gates with his forklift and the gates slid off the forks.
