On August 30, 2025, an employee was using a reciprocating saw to cut an HVAC pipe into pieces. Expanded metal had been wrapped around a nearby pipe and secured with zip ties. The vibration from the saw freed one of the zip ties, and the coil of the sheet metal lacerated the employee's right arm near the elbow.
