An employee was strapping supply wood. The employee saw that the panel saw was not working properly and tried to fix the problem. The accumulator arm came in to catch the plywood panels while the X-lift was discharging the full load of plywood. The panels on the other side of the machine did not catch the accumulator arm, and the panels fell through and hit the X-lift. As the X-lift was coming back up, the employee saw the panels sticking up. He tried to push the panels on top of the X-lift. By that time, the X-lift had gone up, and his right hand was caught between the X-lift and the accumulator arm, resulting in a compound fracture to his right arm. He was hospitalized for surgery.

Hospitalized Arm(s), unspecified Sawing machinery-stationary, n.e.c.
