On November 3, 2016, at approximately 1:40 p.m., a temporary employee was cleaning production equipment with sodium hydroxide material in a 5-gallon bucket. The employee wore rain suit pants, gloves, goggles, and a long-sleeve shirt. The caustic material made contact with the employee's right forearm, resulting in a burn that required hospitalization and surgery.
