The employee was making parts at the Accupress machine and stacking them on a skid that was on a cart. The employee went to adjust the materials when the skid and parts fell on him, causing him to fall backwards with the material landing on his stomach and legs and his head striking machinery behind him. The employee was hospitalized for a fractured left kneecap and leg, a fractured right ankle and multiple lacerations to his legs, stomach and head.
