An employee backed the shuttle bus into its assigned parking spot. The employee then opened the bus door and exited the vehicle, however, the vehicle was still in reverse. The bus continued to reverse and the bus door struck the employee, knocked him to the ground, and a tire ran over his right leg. The employee suffered a broken tibia and fibula and was admitted to the hospital for surgery.
