On 8/29/2017, at approximately 3:15 PM CST, an employee and a coworker were tightening a nut on a push rod. The coworker was using a pry bar to pry on a piece of tube steel to take the pressure off the nut and make it easier for the employee to turn. The bar slipped and pinched the employee's right index finger, avulsing it and partially amputating the fingertip without bone loss.
