An employee was sliding an 11/64 thick sheet of steel off stationary rollers to an adjoining table. With his left hand positioned under the sheet and his left ring finger slightly through a hole cut in the sheet, he quickly and forcefully pulled and then pushed the sheet to the table. His left hand came in contact with the table edge, stopping and the sheet continued over the fingertip removing the tip of the finger and the top portion of the nail.
