An employee was using a pallet jack to move steel racking from the sales floor to outside of the store when the steel racking slipped off the pallet. The employee and another employee attempted to lift the steel to reposition it on the pallet. The employee lost his grip and his right middle finger was caught between two sections of the steel racking, resulting in a fingertip amputation.
