An employee was standing on a flatbed trailer, pulling a tarp over a load of cast iron pipe that was covered in plastic. When he went to step down off the cargo, his left foot slipped, breaking through the plastic cover and his left leg slipped in between the cast iron pipes. The employee sustained lacerations to the left calf and knee and was hospitalized.
