Final narrative
An employee was working from an elevated platform. When the employee grabbed a wire rope guardrail, the guardrail collapsed, and the employee fell head first approximately 6 feet into a lift basket. The employee sustained bruising to the spinal cord, fractured vertebrae, and a broken nose.
