On October 11, 2019, at approximately 9:00 a.m., an employee was installing an egg belt conveyor system at an animal confinement building. A temporary cable and pulley system was being used as part of the installation process to transport materials. The cable became dislodged and the employee's left index and middle fingers were caught by the cable and pulled into a pulley. The employee's left index finger was amputated at the middle knuckle, and the left middle finger was fractured.
