An employee was dumping an 8-yard rear-load container. A piece of furniture was caught between the scraper blade and the hopper seal. When the blade came down, it kicked the container off the truck and into the employee, who suffered bruising to the kidney, spleen, and liver, as well as possible fractures to ribs and/or vertebrae.
