An employee was operating a nut tapping machine, that cuts screw threads inside the nut, when the nut became jammed. As he tried to clear the jam, his gloved left hand became caught in the rotating nut tap. He suffered at least one fractured finger requiring surgery, with other fingers receiving lacerations. He was hospitalized.
