An employee was walking when she stubbed her toe on the V-shaped legs of a piece of exercise equipment and fell to the floor hitting her face, left shoulder, left wrist, back, and left knee. The employee was hospitalized with fractures to the patella, wrist, and tibia. The broken patella required surgery.
