An employee was performing chimney repairs inside of a chimney. One of the securing lines was severed by the oscillation of the outer concrete covering due to high winds. The employee fell a short distance before being secured by secondary safety lines. This action caused the employee to slam into either the wall or part of the safety cage. The employee sustained a broken rib and a possibly broken shoulder blade.
