On June 7, 2021, an employee was standing on a 6-foot fiberglass step ladder, addressing an issue with a heat pump. The heat pump was turned on to build pressure. While checking the refrigerant in the heat pump, the employee contacted a wire, was shocked, and fell from the ladder. The employee was hospitalized, having suffered electrical burns to the left thumb, index finger, and middle finger, as well as a bruise to the left arm from the fall and neck/back strain.
