An employee was mowing around a lake using a stand-up mower. The employee stepped off the stand when the mower became stuck. The employee was removing grass under the mower deck and their left hand was struck by the blades. The employee sustained the amputation of the pinky fingertip, and the middle and ring fingers up to the first knuckle.
