At 9:00 a.m. on June 22, 2022, a unit of plywood was being lifted with a crane. The rigging or strapping failed and the plywood fell from the platform. An employee was pouring a sidewalk on the opposite side of the building when one of the pieces of plywood hit him in the back of the head. He suffered a brain bleed, a skull fracture, and broken vertebrae in the back and neck.
