An employee was standing at the register, having just completed a transaction. A man pulled a knife and demanded the money from the register. He rushed into the check stand and assaulted the employee. The knife used by the assailant caused cuts to the back of the employee's left hand and the palm of her right hand that required stitches. She was also cut under the chin. The employee was hospitalized.
