On September 30, 2022, at approximately 12:15 a.m., an employee was finishing the task of scrubbing the inside of a cabinet in the harvest floor basement. As the employee was closing the lid, the Clean-in-Place (CIP) system started. The employee let go of the lid and his left ring finger was crushed between the corner of the lid and the lip of the cabinet. The employee sustained a partial amputation of the distal phalanx on the left ring finger.
