Final narrative
An employee was performing routine calibrations on gauges for a purified water loop. The employee was on ladder removing a pressure valve. When the valve came loose steam was released from the water loop and struck the left side of the employee's torso, causing them to fall from the ladder. The employee suffered second degree burns on their left shoulder and torso, as well as a fracture of their left foot from the fall off the ladder.
