Two employees entered a confined space on a rail car to clean it. The atmosphere inside the confined space was oxygen deficient and also contained carbon monoxide. One employee was able to escape the confined space, but the second employee fainted inside the rail car. A third employee entered the rail car to hook up the employee that fainted and assist in the rescue. Two of the employees were hospitalized.
