An employee had just finished servicing an aircraft and was returning to the warehouse via the aircraft ramp when they were struck by a command loader's transition deck and knocked to the ground. A support wheel from the transition deck ran over the employee's left hand, resulting in injuries to the left hand and an index finger amputation. The employee also sustained a leg injury.
