Final narrative

A packaging machine had just been filled with beans and started when a poly tube entered the machine. An employee was clearing this potential jam when his left index finger was caught between the bag sealer and a pneumatic bar that holds bags in place for sealing. The fingertip was amputated. The machine had a protective interlocked screen at the time.
