On August 21, 2025, an employee was turning off a fire hydrant after filling a water truck used for construction site dust control. The threaded fitting connecting the hose to the hydrant loosened and separated, striking him in the lower left leg. The employee suffered a fractured left tibia that required hospitalization and surgery.
