A forklift and was loading a 6-inch wide by 24-foot long aluminum pipe onto a saw platform for processing. The injured employee was walking by and went to help by sliding the pipe off the forks and onto the table. His left hand was holding the end of the pipe and his fingers were inside the pipe to pull it forward. The pipe stopped moving after hitting the saw clamp, but the forklift was still moving forward, causing the top of the fork/mast to crush the injured employee's left hand against the stopped pipe.
