An employee was testing a breaker that energizes a dryer when the breaker tripped. There was a propane leak from the dryer that went into the conduit and bypassed the conduit sealer that was connected to a Motor Control Center (MCC). The employee contacted the control board and instructed them turned on the dryer when the MCC exploded. The employee sustained an injury and the amputation of his right foot.
