On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] an employee in the extrusion department was working inside the [REDACTED] Room when a fire occurred. Employee was working on a breakdown and was in the process of clearing foam. Fire initiated in The [REDACTED] Room from static discharge near the trim saw area on the mandrel cart. The team is still investigating PPE usage during there process. There were no witnesses or camera footage.

. Employee was transported to Emergency where he was treated for second degree burns to his face. He was released and has follow up appointment at a later date.
