Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which
were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause
death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were
exposed to:
Serious injury or death by being struck by bulls
in Barn No. 1 and the isolation/quarantine barn
during cleaning, handling, grooming and leading
activities.
Among other methods, feasible and acceptable abatement to correct
this hazard is to:
1. Install or provide methods to secure bulls when employees are
required to enter pens.
2. Install barrier railings along routes bulls are required to travel.
3. Install escape routes for employees at pens and along travel
routes.
