Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing injuries and/or death from machinery rolling over while riding on the platform/catwalk: a) Off Martin Road, North Cordorus Township, Spring Grove, Pennsylvania- An employee was riding on the platform adjacent to the operator's cab of the FMC Pod Stripper Combine, Model PSC-156, Serial Number IN 326 prior to the vehicle rolling over, on June 24 and 25, 1990. Method of abatement in these circumstances may include but are not limited to the following: a) No riders shall be permitted while the equipment is in operation.

Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing injuries and/or death from machinery rolling over while not wearing safety belt: a) Off Martin Road, North Codorus Township, Spring Grove, Pennsylvania- An employee operating a FMC Pod Stripper Combine, Model PSC-156, Serial Number IN 326 rolled over when employee was not wearing the seat belt provided; on or about June 24 and 25, 1990. Method of abatement in these circumstances may include but are not limited to the following: a) Employees shall be required to wear seat belts at all times during the operation of the machinery.
