Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:
The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment
which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to
cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees
were exposed to:
a.  The hazard of a 22ft fall to the pavement below.  On or about
6/22/92 - Catenary scaffold supported by wire rope were not
provided with hook shaped stops to prevent accidental dis-
placement.  A feasible and useful method to correct this hazard
is to install hook shaped stops on each end of the scaffold
platform.

were exposed to:
a.  On or about 6/22/92 - The hazard of a 22ft. fall to the
pavement below.  Employees wearing a safety belt were not tied
or secured to a structural member other than the horizontal wire
rope supporting the scaffold.  One feasible and acceptable
abatement method to correct this hazard is to install an in-
dependent wire rope above the supporting scaffold wire rope.
