General-duty citation text

Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of
1970:  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of
employment which were free from recognized hazards that were
causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees were exposed to:
(a)  Jobsite:  Third Floor;  An employee was exposed to a
fall hazard which could result in serious physical harm or
death while standing on the sill of a widow opening
performing carpentry work.
Among other methods of abating this condition would be to
work from a guarded staging or wear a safety belt attached
to a lanyard and life line.
