machines provided with
a dust collection system that was located inside the building and had the
dust passing through
the air-moving system,  on or about August 4, 2003.
AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO
CORRECT THESE HAZARDS INCLUDES, FOLLOWING NFPA 654, STANDARD FOR THE
PREVENTION OF FIRE AND DUST EXPLOSIONS FROM THE MANUFACTURING, PROCESSING
AND HANDLING OF COMBUSTIBLE PARTICULATE SOLIDS, 1997 EDITION, INCLUDING,
BUT
NOT LIMITED TO, LOCATING THE DUST-COLLECTION SYSTEM OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING
AND REDESIGNING THE VENTILATION SYSTEM TO REMOVE THE DUST BEFORE ENTERING
THE AIR HANDLING DEVICE.
