fingers/hands caught in the point of operation on the Cincinnati 250 Ton

follow a program of
periodic and regular inspection of the press brake and that employees were
not adequately
trained in the care, set-up and use of the press brake.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard
is to:
a)establish and follow a program of periodic and regular inspections of the
power press brake in accordance with ANSI B11.3-1982, American National
Standard for Machine Tools - Power Press Brakes - Safety Requirements for
Construction, Care, and Use, Section 5.1.4.
b)provide and require operators to be trained in the care, set-up, and use
of
power press brakes in individual piece-part bending operations in
accordance
with ANSI B11.3-1982, American National Standard for Machine Tools -
Power Press Brakes - Safety Requirements for Construction, Care, and Use,
Section 6.1.2.
