Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a)At "Escuela Industrial de Mujeres" facilities in Vega Alta, there is a
wood trailer divided
in three areas used as: sick call area, waiting room (nurse) and security
guard office. The
structure has deficiencies in its floor and roof filtrations. The
employees were exposed
to falls and respiratory allergies.
One feasible and abatement method among others to correct hazards can be:
1. Remodeling the trailer with new wood panels.
a)En las facilidades de la Escuela Industrial de Mujeres en Vega Alta, hay
un van de
madera que esta dividido en tres areas usadas como: area de sick call,
sala de espera
(enfermera) y oficina de guardias penales. La estructura tiene unas
deficiencias en el piso
y filtraciones por el techo. Los empleados estaban expuestos a caidas y
alergias
respiratorias.
Un metodo viable entre otros metodos que se pueden utilizar para corregir
los riesgos
existentes es:
1. Remodelar el vagon con paneles de madera nuevos.
