Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards
that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees
in that employees
were exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a)Falling Hazard; Employee used one portable job made ladder to performed
steel rod (1/2") installation without fall protection system.
Location: Road 108, km 1.3, Mayaguez, P.R.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is provide personal fall arrest system or other fall
protection system.
a)Riesgo de caida; Empleado utilizo una escalera portatil de fabricacion
casera
para realizar instalacion de varillas de acero(1/2") desprovisto de un
sistema
contra caida.

Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable de correccion para este
riesgo es proveer un sistema contra caida personal(full harness) u otro
sistema
contra caida."
