Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to:
The possibility of fracture(s), concussion(s) or possible death resulting
from the hazards of
working around and/or driving a truck in poorly lit or dark areas at night
with safety appliance
defects, as follows:   No headlights, tail lights, backup lights, box
lights or backup alarm.
Among other methods, feasible and acceptable methods to correct this
hazard would be to:
1.  Develop a procedure(s) to inspect the vehicle(s) for defect(s), repair
any defects found
or remove the vehicle(s) from service until such repairs are made.
2.  Instruct all involved employees on the established procedure(s).
