North Carolina General Statue 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees condition of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a)struck-by - traffic signs were not posted where employees were exposed to vehicular in a work zone. One feasible and acceptable abatement method, among others, to correct this hazard is to provide and require employees to post traffic signs in work zones before work commence.
