HWY 18 East, Armorel, AR;  Job-site of Marine Terminal of Arkansas:  The
employer
did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized
hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical
harm to employees
who were lifted by an industrial fork lift truck without the benefit of a
proper safety
platform, exposing those employees to the recognized hazards associated
with falls.
Among other methods, two feasible and acceptable abatement methods to
correct this
hazard are as follows:
1)  The use of a fork lift truck in conjunction with a proper safety
platform, equipped
with guardrail or other adequate means of fall protection.
2)  The use of a scissor lift or similar type of man-lift, which has been
designed for the
purpose of lifting personnel.
